Chevy put the Silverado out on the market in the late-90s. It was advertised as a successor to the pickup truck line that belonged to Chevrolet and the General Motor Company. In its first generation, the Silverado had three bed lengths and three cab options, one standard and two extended selections. In effect, drivers could customize their experience according to their needs and purposes. The heavy-duty version of the truck was coined Silverado HD. Its lighter counterpart was known simply as Silverado.
