Some of the oldest Honda Elements are regarded as classic. The thermoplastic in back of it instead of customary carpet will go down in history as iconic, in a sense. The pop-up sunroom was removable, which didn’t quite make up for the front seats that couldn’t go back far enough for drivers with longer legs. Its interior far surpassed anything under the hood. By 2011, Honda made necessary improvements on the Element, but they also eliminated a few of its hallmarks. This didn’t bode well with consumers. It was discontinued that year.
