After it’s first generation, Chevy allowed the Silverado to keep its same cab configurations and traditional look with a few tweaks here and there. The suspension and frame were different this go-around and so were the two-wheel and four-wheel drive options. Yes, Chevy presented choices. Its body mounts were hydraulic, making the truck essentially indestructible and more secure altogether. By the third generation, more engine choices were accorded. It also underwent structural and mechanical changes, incorporating hydroforming technology. MyLink infotainment became a good selling point for the Silverado. OnStar navigation was just the tip of the iceberg. Leather upholstery was available with the High Country, its premium trim.
The 2019 Silverado is big and wide and has a strong powertrain. Compared to its rivals, its grille is intimidating and sturdy. All displays and controls are user-friendly. It delivers a pleasant trip with plenty of latitude.
